Machines are built straight onto their pads.
Platinum is banked the moment you pick it up. On the start menu it buys starter suits; this run ends there.
Your ship came down hard on a dead world. Cut salvage from the wreckage with your scavenger tool, build a Crafter, and work your way up to the parts that get you off this rock.
Watch your health, oxygen, heat and food. Crabos scuttle everywhere and sometimes attack; big roaches guard hoards of materials; withered explorers raid camps. Oxygen drains away from the wreck. Heat builds under the sun and drops at night; the wreck and your beacons cool you, and the caves under the rock mounds hold it steady. Hunt for meat, explore the Charred plains and the Fungle jungle, tame a beast and ride it.
Platinum drops from creatures, toolcrates and buried caches, and stays with you between runs.
Leave the room code empty to play solo. Everyone who starts with the same code lands on the same wasteland: you see each other, salvage one of you takes is gone for all, and machines, repairs, dug-up caches and temples and the launch are shared. Creatures are still your own.
Optional. You can also drop an .stl file anywhere on the page. Until then you play a stand-in astronaut.
